Organic Standards

Organic standards are a set of regulations and guidelines established to define and ensure the organic production and labeling of chicken products. These standards aim to promote sustainable raising practices, protect the environment, and provide consumers with confidence in the authenticity and quality of organic products. Here are some of the organic standards that Daarzood is keen on in all its products:

  • 1. Prohibition of synthetic chemicals:

Daarzood strictly prohibits the use of synthetic chemicals such as hormones or antibiotics. Instead, we relies on natural and organic alternatives to manage our chicken raising.

  • Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are not allowed on our all farms. This includes genetically modified livestock or feed.

  • We emphasize the humane treatment of our chickens. Our chickens have access to outdoor areas, natural living conditions, and organic feed without synthetic additives

  • We always makes sure to promote practices that protect natural resources, including water conservation, biodiversity preservation, and wildlife habitat conservation.

  • We are required to keep detailed records of our farming practices, inputs, and procedures. These records are subject to inspections to verify compliance with organic standards.

  • Our all products must undergo certification by the ESMA certification authority to verify that we meet the organic standards. Once certified, products can carry the official organic label, assuring consumers that they are buying genuine organic products.
