Sustainable Activities

At Daarzood Farms, we make sure to minimize the negative impact of poultry raising on the environment, promote biodiversity, and ensure the long-term viability of farming systems. These practices aim to enhance the health and resilience of ecosystems, conserve natural resources, and support the well-being of farmers and local communities. Here are some key aspects of our sustainable farming practices:

  • 1. Pasture-raised or free-farm system:

Our chickens have access to outdoor areas. This allows them to forage for natural foods, increases their overall health, and reduces the need for intensive indoor production.

  • We use organic and non-GMO feed to promote healthier chickens and reduce the use of synthetic chemicals and genetically modified organisms in the food chain.

  • At Daarzood farms we don't use any antibiotics to raise our chickens. we implement good management and natural practices to prevent diseases and maintain flock health.

  • We Develop a composting system for our chicken waste and other organic materials. We also planning to use it as a natural fertilizer, that can reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and minimizing waste.

  • We Implement water-saving technologies such as drip irrigation and rainwater harvesting to reduce water consumption on the farm.

  • We invest in energy-efficient equipment and lighting to reduce energy consumption. We also planning to use renewable energy sources like solar power.

  • We implement waste reduction strategies such as recycling, reusing materials, and minimizing packaging.

  • We make sure to import our materials, equipment, and feed from sustainable and ethical suppliers who prioritize environmental and social responsibility.
